Charles just announced on his website that he is starting to prototype the new jruby compiler which is just amazing. I am really looking forward to testing out and finding out how this compiler works and how to jar the classes it creates.
Right now I use an ant script to call the jrubyc and compile and jar the jruby code. Now these jars can be called by java directly will make calling theses jars some much easier and efficient.
The new script will be published shortly after i get a chance to test the new compiler.
